A big thank you!

A big thank you for taking part in the perception survey by adding your comments and suggestions for the Coppermill area.

We are now anyalising your responses and will be using this blog to update you on the next steps. We'll also let you now about upcoming events in the local area.

We have noticed a large number of you would like to see more play streets in the local area. What better way to get started than by throwing a party on World Car Free Day!

Celebrate on Saturday 22 September and bring your community together for a street party and experience the pleasure of a car free road. Apply to hold a party on your road and the council will give you a free party pack of playground games to help get everyone involved. You could even hold a barbeque and get everyone to bring along a dish or two to celebrate having a traffic free road.

To close your road for a World Car Free Day street party you will need to apply to Waltham Forest Council. The application form can be found here bit.ly/CarFreeDayParty don’t forget to check with your neighbours first and submit your application to us before Monday 10 September.
